Maintenance & Inspections
At McDonough Elevators, we design our maintenance packages to prevent issues before they become costly breakdowns. We determine maintenance frequency with our customers based on elevator usage, equipment brand (STROS, PEGA, Geda, USA Hoist, Alimak) and environmental conditions (such as frigid temperatures or dust). Our service technicians provide knowledgeable service every visit, minimizing breakdowns and prolonging the life of your equipment.
As a part of our maintenance contracts we can also provide equipment inspections. It is critical to inspect your elevator in accordance with all local, state, and federal requirements in order to keep it up and running. Our years of industry experience have made us experts in the varying inspection requirements across the United States. Inspections are also important because they ensure your elevator is safe and they can extend the life of your elevator by identifying wear and tear to key components.
We offer flexible maintenance schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually) and provide the following services:
- Overspeed Drop Tests
